"Hilton Garden Inn La Romana is a clean, comfortable, and quiet place to stay. The hotel feels well kept and welcoming, with pretty surroundings that make it easy to relax. Rooms are cozy and restful, and the overall atmosphere is calm—great for unwinding after a day out."

"Only problem no hot water in the room"

"The property was okay - it is on a main road so it can get quite noisy. The only negative we had was when we checked in. We were told that the machines were not working and we would have to pay in cash. We were told that the owner was looking to sell and she was only wanting cash. We did not enough in US dollars so the management wanted basically the equivalent in Euros. It was late and there was no point in haggling as there were no other places with any room because we were taking a cruise from La Romana port. We had to give in but it was, in my opinion, extortion. We were not given the room unless we paid up front and in full. Held hostage before our trip even began. Not a nice way to start a vacation. The room was ok. Basic but clean. The staff was friendly."

"It's definitely not what it used to be. I've stayed there many times during 2016 to 2020. It was lively, bright well staffed. Now it's a skeleton of what it once was. I stood 4 nights - 5 days went to breakfast the first day and after looking at it only had the coffee and left, i never went back i ate out for breakfast. The restaurants which once was the only restaurant i would eat lunch and dinner was not in service only for breakfast. The rooms looks as if it hasn't been painted in years. On the first night they changed my room 3 times and i finally settled for the 3rd room because i was exhausted."

"The area looked beautiful in photos but it really was not feeling safe. We had an overnight before cruise and mainly just stayed in the room. The beach was lovely but we didn’t feel comfortable eating anywhere near this small hotel no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage up stairs to higher floors. No where close to get a coffee in the morning."

"We were transferred to another property by the owner as it was 1 night stay before a boarding a cruise. The apartment was clean but not near to food places. The breakfast was brought to us in a grocery bag for us to make ourselves. Would NOT be visiting ever again. Dominican republic is also very expressive for tourists they extort you every chance they get "

"The guesthouse is situated overlooking the ocean but it is well hidden. Don't give up! Follow the unpaved road around and you'll find a gem. The proprietor is friendly, will provide breakfast, arrange take-out meals and transfers if needed. We enjoyed our stay. "

"I love this place this is my second time staying there and the host is amazing she communicates fast and helps out with any problems the house it’s self is really clean very secure this will forever will be my vacation home when I come back "
