"I liked this place very much - the food was good, the staff were nice, nice pool and good amenities, great size room and extra large bed, the decor could do with a lick of paint, but very nice. Two things I didn't really like, though, was on a few occasions the animacion team had a quiz or something (it was in French) at the poolside and was very loud with lots of cheering. I dont want to be miserable about it but you could not even get away from it on your balcony as as it was so loud - maybe could have been done inside? And smoking was allowed everywhere outside - I would prefer just one smoking area for the comfort of children and non- smokers. That said, I would happily stay again."
"I stayed at Hotel Elba in Motril for a weekend and had a very pleasant experience. The room was spotless and had a lovely balcony with views of the beach. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was spacious and well equipped.
Breakfast was included in the price and offered a good variety of foods and drinks, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. The hotel also has both indoor and outdoor pools, though I didn’t get the chance to use them, so I can’t comment on those facilities.
Parking cost €7 per day, which I found reasonable for the area.
Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay. However, the sound insulation is a bit of an issue as you can hear people speaking in the next room but I would definitely choose Hotel Elba again for a future visit to Motril."
"Big and well maintained apartment. No pool (at least in the winter) - only two non-functional jaccuzzis. Free parking on the street. Very close to two supermarkets. Dining option are a bit far (15 min walk)"
"Just returned from a weeks hols in October 2025, just my and son and a
I.
Hotels remote, but beautiful. In fairness it was better than good, very good even, just not quite 5 stars.
Not many brits here, good or bad make your own mind up. But I would recommend learning sone spanish. Its definitely alpreciated.
Buffet food was good, plenty to choose.
And plenty of booze too.
Would defo recommend to families, couples and anyone else for that matter.
To the staff thank you for working hard.
And to the 2 pensioners scrapping in the bingo hall. Naughty boys!! "
