We spent 7 days and it was a good stay overall. We enjoyed the access to the beach and liked that it’s close to Calle 5. We liked the buffet but were not impressed with the restaurants, we went to the Japanese and Mexican restaurants but decided to just stick to the buffet. The staff was friendly over all, shout out to Luis he was at the lobby bar, I believe he was a Supervisor at the bar. All associates were very friendly the one exception was a lady that was at the Japanese restaurant when we stopped by, she was a Supervisor and was very rude to another of the ladies working with her, I don’t think she knew we spoke Spanish and we understood how rude she was. We saw her at Guacamole also for lunch one day, I didn’t get her name but she is older with short black hair, she needs to treat her associates and guest better. We went to Tequilas night club an couple of times and the drinks are awful, I have no idea what they serve but it’s bad, the AC doesn’t seem to work also it’s super hot in there.

It was our first time at this resort and we absolutely loved it! The staff is so kind and welcoming and truly made our stay enjoyable. The Italian restaurant and steakhouse didn’t have the best food but Don Julio’s buffet was tasty and offered a variety of foods. We will definitely be returning and recommending this resort to family and friends. Something that stuck out to us was that we had access to all the neighboring Riu resorts which isn’t something we’ve seen before! There are a lot of areas outside of the resort to shop at so be sure to check them out.

RIU is always incredible, and we had an amazing stay. The only thing I didn’t like was that the pools were warm by noon. It was like getting into a bathtub when we wanted to swim in the afternoon.

older dated property but they make up for it with great staff and quality food and drinks. The beach and setting are fantastic, Great place for a family and friends getaway but definitely not for a romantic holiday. Will return again as we live in the area and will come when we have guests.

we were a group of 6 adults and 1 child w autism and I have to say they were the BEST! The entertainment team is awesome, the games and all the activities were very nice We enjoyed Edgard and his Mariachis on stage. There are plenty of options to eat as well!
