"Only one elevator was working the entire week. We found the food to be pricey and not varied. We were going to go shopping in the gift shop on our last day but it was closed.We weren’t told the gift shop was closed. We wanted to get gifts for people. Also there is no entertainment."

It’s a great place to unwind, enjoy the scenery, and make special memories. Overall, it was a lovely experience, and I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone visiting Puerto Rico!"

"Our stay at El Conquistador was truly phenomenal! From the beautiful surroundings to the overall experience, we had a wonderful time. My absolute favorite part was having direct access to Palomino Island. That experience alone made the stay so worthwhile and unforgettable. It was definitely a highlight of our trip and a big reason why I would recommend this resort. The only hiccup was at checkout, when I noticed duplicate charges for a meal at Ventanas restaurant. I had already paid for the meal directly with my card at the restaurant, but the same amount was also charged to our room. I’m hopeful the El Conquistador team will look into this and resolve the issue promptly. Aside from this billing concern, we had a fantastic stay and truly enjoyed our experience. I would love to return, and I hope the resort can help resolve the payment issue so I can look back on the entire experience as positively as it deserves!"

"At first I had a hard time finding the location but it was mainly the fault of the local town authorities badly designed roads and no visible signs which even with GPS can lead you to a different exits. I called the hotel and the front desk lady stayed with me on the phone to help me find the hotel exact location. I cannot praise this lady more since she was extremelly helpful during my entire stay. The room was clean and homely. Bed was comfortable. Free wifi. A nice little fridge that actually kept my water bottles very cold like I like them. Ther was free coffee but i didn't use it. Parking was a bit challenging as it is mainly in front of the hotel in a narrow street so I had to be very careful to park properly and to leave the spot. However there are lots of restaurants and places to eat just a walking distance from the hotel which was convenient. Overall I had a good stay which I used mainly to sleep."
