Beach Resorts in Playa Grande

"The resort was extremely clean and beautiful. The beach was pristine, smooth, unforgettable. The sunsets are brilliant. Our room was spotless everyday, amazing towel animals on the bed; a very nice touch. Wonderful staff. Breakfast staff were so friendly- Rodolfo, Andy, Paulino, Douglas. Jose and Priscilla doing the rec activities were great. Nadesca serving on the deck was very sweet. Jessica at the spa did a lovely hot stone massage. Elliot picked us up from a restaurant when it was dark! Flower got us a round trip uber on her phone that was reliable and reasonable to go to Conshell beach at the last minute on our last day. Everyone was super, even the security was friendly. Close to the resort is the marina and lots of places to eat. We felt totally safe and it was a wonderful place to relax and unwind. Highly recommend!"

"Staff was incredible. Everyone we encountered was very friendly, helpful, and kind which had a very positive impact on our stay. Location isnt ideal do to being on a hill at a relatively far distance from the beach but also made for a great view for the sunsets. The shuttle did help alleviate this issue and ubers were pretty cheap as well. Included breakfast was ok and what you would expect for a hotel breakfast. "

"All spaces, rooms, restaurant, interior, exterior, and grounds extraordinarily clean. Even the chrome condiment containers were wiped clean every use. Without exception friendly helpful staff. Eager to help. Anticipating customer needs. You were missing an opportunity if you don't book your stay at the Palms at La Playa Coco. It also includes cooked fresh free breakfast. On-site restaurant is above average and one of the top choices in town. Beds were comfortable."

"Very happy with our stay at Occidental Tamarindo! First, the staff, I’ve never felt so welcomed any where else. Plenty of food and drinks. Clean rooms and facility in general. Entertainment team made a huge effort every single night and was really appreciated by us. They go above and beyond in every show with whatever resources they have. Special mention to the tours desk in the hotel with Sibü Tours! Yusi is amazing and very personal in every interaction. The best driver ever, Manrique, is all you need when looking for a friend in an unknown destination! He’s our friend now! Francisco, the guide, was fun, friendly and informative (5 stars), and Don Diego the big boss, a very humble, pleasant and friendly guy. Such a great team! We’re already planning to go to Occidental again!"
