"We only stayed one night to be closer to Kaiser as I was having a major surgery the following morning. I was feeling a little stressed until I walked into their Lobby. A young gentleman called me to the desk first telling me I had a wonderful smile, I’m 73 and certainly not feeling well, I actually then smiled. He said are you checking in tonight and I said I’ve already prepaid but wanted to see if I had paid for on site parking. He said I show you have a room with 2 beds and handicap roll in shower. He said parking wasn’t added, but it’s going to be covered by us. I asked about the restaurant and he and the young lady working said it’s wonderful. They gave us 2 recommendations, one was Roasted chicken with Polenta which I don’t care for. They recommended substituting for mashed potatoes. Crazy as this sounds it was fabulous, I felt like I was having my last supper. Absolutely the best stay at a hotel I’ve had in years. I travel Often but they treated us like Royalty and I thought Customer Service was dead. If any negative at all, I would say some of the end tables could use a little upgrade. And that’s a stretch. Amazing stay, fyi I may surgery was a huge success. Maybe because I was not stressed when I got to the hospital. The gentleman who waited on us was Elbert, I unfortunately didn’t get the young ladies name. I will be contacting Marriott Corporate Office to let them know how pleased I was. Sitting in the hospital and loving life. Mary"
