"It was (is) great. They were very helpful during the russian missile strikes by providing a shelter close by. The staff speak some english but will always use a translation app to communicate. "I stayed in the Luxury Apartment. Worth the money. The cafe is excellent and they prepare good food right on property. There is a Silpo grocery store close by and all kinds of dining options in walking distance. Use the Kontraktova metro stop it’s easier. Ukrainian Starbucks is Aroma Kava. Grab a latte every time you go to and from the Metro. I’ll be staying at KONTRAKT every time I come to Kyiv. It’s quiet and the nightlife is ten minutes walk away if you really want to bogey."

"It’s more of a boutique type hotel. A floor in an apartment building that was basically divided into individual rooms. Clean and exceptionally comfortable bed. Pretty basic set up. Noise from outside the room is easily heard inside. That’s our only complaint. Check in was easy and quick. Easy communication with the staff. Everything was good enough for our needs. Located within easy walking distance of sites, churches, shopping, jazz bar, etc. "

"I really like the location and vibe, except the loud 1980s music was annoying. The bed was comfortable and the water was hot. The food downstairs at Druzi Cafe was very delicious, but a bit pricey.
