Beautiful oceanfront bungalows, good restaurant (daughter loved kids spaghetti, fish and beef dinners very good, pizza mediocre), great pool and swings, easy access to Tieti Diving next door

A great location, terrific staff, could not want for better service. Check in smooth. Room clean and tidy but needs a bit of tlc. Bed comfortable. Dinner was superb. Pool a great asset Grounds tidy and cared for. A beautiful building for the central facilities but is a little tired and needs some tlc. Overall a great experience and would recommend it for a stay, and we would come back. Thank you for the kind service folk of the Tieti Hotel.
Luxurious bungalow with all the trimmings. Extremely helpful check-in staff, and friendly restaurant staff. À la carte dinner menu was very reasonably priced, and our choices were delicious.
Hotel Tieti is situated on a lovely beach and is well maintained and the staff are friendly. The beachfront bungalow I stayed in was lovely as was the pool that was nearby. I stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the peace and quiet. It is a complete contrast to Noumea, you should prepare to relax and chill out at this place. It also has a nice restaurant which I went to one night.
It's a great place to unwind. Staff at reception were fantastic, very helpful. Food was good. Bed was comfortable. Very rural, which is why we stayed there. Place is on the water. Room was spacious.

Although the venue is older it is comfortable and staff and food so well prepared. We recommend the public coach as it is 5 plus hours from Noumea what an interesting ride with the locals - modern new and a glorious adventure seniors Pam and John recommend the adventure
Hotel was clean and nice, we enjoyed the food and pool. There wasn’t much to do around the area, we didn’t realised how limited the tourism is up there, as it was windy no water activities so there wasn’t much left to do. The town is ok, but nothing to do apart from a cafe and supermarket. Hotel has some bikes that are a bit beat up but worked.. just. There’s a billard table, table tennis, kids play area, boules and it’s on the beach.

Tiéti is quality accommodation with large rooms, balcony, pleasant grounds and excellent restaurant. However, it is starting to show signs of wear (broken bathroom counter, cracked floor tiles, holes in shower wall), but nothing functionally impaired. The water in the shower took about 2 mins to warm up, and was only just warm enough (for females!). The biggest limitation was the wifi, which was unusable as it was so slow, even for simple email/txts. It was the same everywhere we tried it, even in the reception/restaurant area, so not a signal strength issue. Luckily, we had pocket wifi, which I recommend if visiting NC!
L'Hotel Tieti is an absolute gem of a place hidden 300kms north of Noumea on the West Coast.
Built in the mid 1980's, it is looking a little bit aged in some places but apart from that this hotel is superb.
We stayed in a beachside bungalow and the staff and management (especially the Manager Yve) fell over themselves to make us feel welcome, safe and looked after.
We were literally 15 metres from the white sand beach and the warm tropical waters. This hotel is very affordable and certainly popular with many folks, especially on long weekends.
The accommodation is clean, well maintained and comfortable and everything is provided. There is not a focus on any kitchen cooking facilities as the hotel restaurant is so well patronised, accessible and provides everything you could need. We did make our own breakfast, but other than that generally dined at the hotel restaurant where the food is superb and plentiful.
There is a fantastic pool by the restaurant and parking is in by the hotel with access to the bungalows by a system of boardwalks.
This hotel is very well priced and affordable, by both New Caledonia standards and internationally.
It is very near to a township called Poindomie which has several smaller supermarkets, ATMs and a pharmacy so everything you may need is very close.
This hotel is a good base to use to explore further North, as well as simply relax on the sand or in the water (but stay about waist deep in the sea).
We highly recommend L'Hotel Tieti.
Loved this quiet, beautiful friendly place. Perfectly set by the beach, amongst the stunning vegetation of northern New Caledonia. Perfect for a chilled relaxing break. Helpful friendly staff. Shout out to the lovely Delphine, really enjoyed our chat / French lesson 😊

Very nice place. We were originally in a standard room, which was fine, but moved to a bungalow with was fantastic. Restaurant was quite good too. We had set menu one night and buffet the second night. Staff very helpful although limited English, but we used Google translate and all was fine.
Good place to base yourself to expose the northeast coast, only and hour away from Hienghene.

Nice older style resort, operated by the local families, right on the beach with a very clean pool area, unfortunately for us the weather was not suited to swim at the beach but it was lovely to do long walks on! We had an ocean view bungalow which had a huge bathroom area. Had a delicious buffet dinner one of the nights.
Could do with some maintenance and a lick of paint in areas but would stay again…..
The staff were most helpful. My daughter went diving and I needed to stay at the hotel until she returned, after our check out, and there was no problem at all. I could use the hotel facilites until she returned.

The hotel is remotely located but very clean and comfortable. The staff were helpful and the dining arrangements were nice.
The rooms were more like "motels", very run down and basic.

Lovely setting and the hotel had all the elements but it was very tired and service was patchy. Hard to get towels, cockroaches. Buffet dinner was good but quite expensive
Nice resort- stayed here as we were diving with Dive Tieti so it was convenient. (Fab diving btw). Beach front villa - very comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was
a little dated but clean - shame about the broken window which according to hotel staf has been like that for a long time. Also a heads up - when we were there we we told not to swim off the beach as there were sharks.
