"We stayed last minute due to the mackinaw bridge closing and they got us in right away, the rooms were super clean, the pool was warm and the hot tub was perfect. The staff were super helpful. The morning of our day to checkout stay they did have a leak and woke us up pretty early but wanted to Make sure it wasn’t our bathroom. Super friendly and super apologetic about it. It was no big deal, will be back over and over!!"
"Check in was confusing at first, but once we knew where to go it went smoothly. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed while we were there, but we were not informed until we read the flyer on the counter. Front desk staff was kind, but did not come forth with pool or breakfast info until we asked.
Breakfast was good, but they did not restock anything. 1st day only one milk, no other beverages, only 3 hash browns in the bin, and 5 pieces of bacon. 2nd day had beverages, but only 2 forks, 2 hash browns, 3 pieces of bacon, syrup almost empty etc. Just would have been nice to actually have our whole family enjoy all the breakfast items instead of only a few getting a hash brown or utensil, etc. Beautiful view from the restaurant where we ate breakfast. We will definitely try the restaurant out next time when it is open!"
"This place was absolutely perfect to call home for the night! I went at the end of March so it was very cold and a lot of the shops were still closed for the season but I loved every bit of the island and this lodge luckily stays open year round which saved my butt! This place is clean, quiet, comfy, so so close to the water and right downtown where all the good stuff is! I’d stay here over and over again. The staff was so very friendly and helpful, we were thrilled with our stay!"
"Evening check in person seemed annoyed she had to get off her phone to check us in, she was rude, we could definitely tell she didn't want to be there and that we were an inconvenience to her. Player's club staff also acted inconvenienced to assist us. No one seemed happy to be there. Room hallways were under remodel with wet paint signs and long nails sticking out of trim. Hotel definitely needs some updating."
