David Thompson Resort Hotel

"We stated here the eve before going to see the glaciers. It was remote, there’s a gas station just past the turn to these lodgings. Motel had 2 floors, we were in the ground level, it was clean and basic. The guests upstairs from us were heavy footed and seemed to be pacing for a hour as we were trying to sleep. Staff checked us in, the office wasn’t occupied when we left at 8am the next morning. We’d recommend the restaurant, they appear to smoke pulled pork themselves. It was really good and burger was good too. We didn’t have internet access and had uploaded navigation before to get here. We learned the office has WiFi and were able to upload our next directions by parking next to it."

"The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The complimentary happy hour was a treat and allowed us to chat with fellow travelers. Staff was friendly and helpful."
