Great retreat in a stunning location, with kangaroos and emus at your doorstep. No wifi and limited mobile reception was great as you can really disconnect. Minor downsides were the TV being hard to work but overall I highly recommend Blaze Rock.

Hard bed All the kangaroos and deer were interesting
Amazing... Amazing view. Its really quiet place. The kangaroo, deers roaming around during the day are so lovely to look at. Then we have the stars at night. It takes your breath away.
It was secluded, which is what I wanted. The knives needed replacing, and the pillows were lumpy. The shower was excellent. The wildlife was beautiful - deers, emus, kangas and birds. I did not think it was worth the price though, especially as I was there during non peak season. There was no much shade around, which I understand due to potential bush fire threat, but some shade around the accommodation would be good. Also, I wanted to be close to the walking tracks near the Grampians, it was not a 1 min walk to the tracks as advertised online. It was a 10+min drive into Halls Gap to get to the tracks.
Words cannot express the beautiful vista that Blaze Rocks looks out over. Every morning we awoke to Kangaroos grazing and Emu's roaming. The Grampians in front of us with the most amazing sun rises and sun sets. The facilities are second to none. I could have stayed forever!
We loved everything about our stay. The villa was very modern and open planned with a free standing bath and a seperate ensuite with a large shower. It was also well equipped with a kitchenette and laundry facilities. The view from the veranda was very peaceful, looking out over an wide open area with the Grampians in the background. The villas are located a few kilometres out of Hall Gap, where there are many restaurants and cafes if you want to eat out. Our weekend was perfect and we would love to return.
Beautiful, spaciously set out room with gorgeous views to the mountains. All the cooking equipment you need.
Quiet, peaceful with all the wildlife at your door. Very relaxing

Peaceful
Ideal remote spot for wildlife and if you don't want the crowds it is lovely and peaceful. Initially it has the wow factor when you walk in but feel it does need a bit of refurbishment as is looking tired in certain areas and needs TLC.
Great accommodation, beautiful surroundings and peaceful. Overall the accommodation was clean, however there were empty pizza boxes left there from the previous people and also some of the drinking glasses were also dirty.
In saying this I would still definitely stay here again as the goods outweigh the bad.
One of the best weekend getaways ever!! Received a detailed and warm text message from the owners of the property explaining well prior, how to get there, how to access our villa and a little about the property. Once we arrived we found everything to be well above expectation. The place was exactly what we were after, first and foremost it was clean, maintenance free, quiet and we weren't on top of other travelers. We had our own space, able to walk with the local fauna and in close proximity to all of the Grampian attractions. For us we were truly able to unwind at our own pace. For us Monday to Friday is so hectic, so the ability to sit in front of a open fire place and taking in the breathtaking views with a glass of wine was enough in itself.
Beautiful 'off the beaten track' place of retreat.
Such a great place to stop and unwind. Beautiful sunsets over the Grampians.
Peaceful view of emus & kangaroos grazing in the evenings. The kitchen has all you need and the bath is soooo good.
Beautiful scenery, quiet and full view of the stars. It was absolutely wonderful and relaxing! The only thing I would make a suggestion about is more info on where the restaurant/food places are, and more on hiking/walking tracks in the Grampians national park and surrounds. we struggled to find somewhere to eat out as there was no info and no wifi or reception so we couldn't look it up ourselves. So more info would be nice other than that very happy with our stay!!
This place was the perfect choice for our anniversary weekend away! Quiet, peaceful, romantic & the most beautiful scenery to look at while enjoying a glass of red on the deck. The facilities were exceptional (name it, they had it), including a bathtub at the end of the king size bed!! Thank you Blaze Rock Retreat for the most perfect of venues for our weekend getaway!
Thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay looking out over the Grampians and the Australian wildlife with the fire on. Lovely amenities and setting. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a special getaway.
Could do with oil and a bigger frypan so that breakfast for two can be cooked at once.
Accomadation is well organised and spotlessly clean. Location is quiet and peaceful. Appliances and fittings are all of very good quality. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.
The resort is a perfect place to unwind. The grounds are filled with wildlife which appears to also be there just to chill out. The resort is also just a small distance to some amazing sights and the Zoo is well worth visiting. Sitting out on the Veranda after a tiring day climbing to the pinnacle with a bottle of red and great company was the most relaxing experience that you could want.
When it was time to go inside, the lighting of the fire and snuggling down to the evening was so very enjoyable. We will definitely return.

Private accommodation, lack of attention to detail
The units are modern and in a nice spot with beautiful views and privacy. You can see kangaroos, emus and deer when you wake up. There are ample facilities to cook and prepare your own food. The bathroom is generous in size and has a washing machine. The overall cleanliness needs to be improved - cupboards were sticky and the interior of draws were dirty. The pillows are lumpy and uncomfortable and were an example of skipping on purchasing quality products which was also obvious with the hard, thin towels and tissues. The external light didn't work which made it difficult to cook at night as it's pitch black. We used a torch from the car. An internal light was also not working. No kindling for the fire. Overall, the seclusion of the place made it relaxing but there was definitely a lack of attention to detail.
