Amazing hotel

We first went to la Quinta and had a horrible experience so we decided to pay the extra money and stay here. This was the best hotel in Ponca city, in my opinion. It was clean, comfortable, nice staff, and the pool was nice as well. Definitely will stay here again on our next visit.

The indoor pool has an access ramp for handicap… my child is not handicapped but she took FULL advantage of this opportunity.. was perfect for my three year old and with the pool only being 1.5 feet deep in the front she had a blast!!! We swam 5 hours Christmas Day !! The pool, and pool dorm was spotless clean and full of all our needs!! It was a blast!! Breakfast was perfect Rooms are perfect! great place to stay !! …. The hotel was really very nice. Friendly staff and the room was excellent. Free breakfast was very good also. My only complaint was access to the hotel itself. Off a busy street, but set back (although that adds to it being quiet) the entrance is hard to see.

Excellent accommodation.

Friendly checkin. Informative and easy. Halls clean, breakfast area well kept, clean, well adorned, offerings tasty and well organized. Stocked and very clean. I appreciate the standing shower instead of tub! Room was clean and well lit. Outlets and charging inputs integrated into the furniture hiding cords made it very clean and easy to access. Climate easily controlled. Pillow offerings met our needs. Nice to have a fridge and microwave inroom.

Bathroom could have been cleaner. Front desk staff was not friendly. Coffee at the Continental Breakfast was cold and very, very weak on 2 mornings out of the 3 days we had breakfast there. Food served for breakfasts were good.

Stayed here with a non allergy type pet. We were informed there’s a $50 pet fee (the day after we checked in) for a pet friendly hotel, due to a special cleaning to make sure there are no allergens in the room. I told them that’s not necessary since we have an allergy free animal. We have to for our children. Managers choice to charge us. We will stay somewhere else every time from now on.

I didn’t like that the front desk receptionist charged my credit card twice. I had paid reservations through the Expedia app with my debit card the receptionist asked for my debit card and charged me again for the whole stay. I let her know that I had already paid through the app and asked her why did she charge me again. She then proceeded to apologize and said that I was going to have a refund coming in to my bank and in 3 working days. Meanwhile I had a total of over $1,600 charged on my bank account. Great save by hotel after Hotels.com dropped ball

Front desk clerk was amazing. Tried very hard to make the best out of a bad situation. Hotels.com did not send our reservation to the property. Hard to find Hotels.com phone number in confirmation emails. Confirmation number had to be entered in automated phone system, then had to be repeated to agent. Hotels.com agent did not make process easy. Eventually, the reservation came through, but IMHO, Hotels.com made the hotel look bad, when it was not the hotel's fault.
