"Overall we had a wonderful stay at Pongwe Beach Hotel. The property is very unique in Zanzibar in that it has its own almost private beach pretty much immediately near bungalows and its very beautiful and quiet, the sea is very clean with less seaweed than others we visited. Beautiful swimming pool overlooking the sea.

- Bask in paradise on a private white sand beach, with ocean adventures at your doorstep and refreshing cocktails at the shore.
"The Swimming Pool was dirty and inusable. For me who travelled with a 1 year old and 4 year old baby, I found that its positioning, less than 3 meters from the door step of the room was extremely dangerous.
This hotel offers bed and breakfast, but the breakfast was awful too.
I decided to check out of the property the day after a night. When i asked the hotel to refund me for unused nights, the hotel declined to refund.
In short, this place is not ideal for a family. Perhaps it can work for...
