"Our stay at la Porte rouge was a dream. We got to stay in a room with garden view that was super quiet and night. The bath seemed freshly renovated and had everything one could wish for. Our hosts made us fantastic breakfast, and were always up for a talk and recommendations. The flair of the house is unbeatable. "Room was clean and tidy when i arrived"

"The room we had was very run down and had mould on the ceiling where there had been a leak of some sort. The climate control did not work in our room and with temperatures during our stay hitting 39 degrees, we had an awful night. To top it all, my wife had put our cool bag on the floor and when we woke up it was crawling with ants, it totally freaked my wife out. Unfortunately, none of the staff could speak English so it was pointless trying to complain. The only redeeming thing I could say was that the breakfast was ok. I would never stay here again."

"The room was a great size, property was nice and quiet (April 2). Access to the waterpark is wonderful. My only recommendation is for late arrival check-in process to be easier. I was a guest off-season so I understand staffing, svcs, etc. are reduced (official check-in is a two hour window, 5p-7p). "
