This property is tired. We learned that they are starting renovations next month. Once the renovations are completed, we would stay here again. It is in a good location with many great dining options close by.

The property is excellent for families, big size room, had a balcony, daily room refresh, daily huge selection continental breakfast, friendly accomodating staff, outdoor and indoor pools, great location to head out to restaurants and city centre.

Although the hotel is outdated, I dont think I have ever been to a hotel where the room was so spotless. I appreciate a clean room versus it being updated. Parking is also pretty easy, didnt get to use the facilities but lots of options for the continental breakfast. I do have to say though it's quite disappointing to not have a tea/coffee boiler or a microwave in the room or acess to a 24/7 machine on the property.

Amazing staff and gorgeous city views

The staff here are absolutely amazing. Fatima made our day and the bar staff made my dads 70th birthday very memorable with a free piece of cake and candle. They went above and beyond to ensure we were happy here. We'll definitely be coming back!!

This hotel is very well run and provides all the services you need for a stay in Ponta Delgada, including ample parking for your rental car. The location is ideal. Breakfast was good but could be improved by adding massa sovada to the bread offerings.

Highly Recommend

This hotel was the perfect choice after an overnight flight from Boston. Check in was easy and room was quiet and clean - balcony had nice view over the city to the ocean. The breakfast buffet, the pools & sauna were great. I would definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing view of the city and the sea, which saved the experience because other services were really not great. It's more like a 3 star hotel, not 4. Breakfast was average, pool good, sauna not working, lifts were extremely slow and one of them kept breaking down. Everything is quite old. Bed was hard. The buffet dinner was really expensive, €30 pp for food which isn't great. Many of tge staff didn't speak English. No room service available. Our last day, we were provided a "lunch box" as we were leaving for an early flight. I think people on prison get a better meal than what we got.

Stayed one night on our way home from two week trip through the Azores.Very nice hotel with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Good location just up hill from old town. Their were several tour groups staying as well as locals using facilities for wedding and first communion celebration during our stay.

Great location in that you can walk around the little town and also a very short cab ride to the airport. The staff was amazing, amenities were good. Breakfast was fabulous! All rooms seems to have balconies and I had a great view of the ocean from mine. Didn’t like the carpeted floors in the room.

Perfectly Fine, convenient Location

The hotel is nice with all the amenities you would expect. Its clean and safe. The beds are quite firm so be prepared for that. We enjoyed the pools and the convenient location. The Buffet breakfast was pretty basic but perfectly fine. Be aware that no matter how many beds your booking includes, they up charge you 30 Euros per person for more than 2 people.

A bit of a dissappointment

This hotel is OK. Negatives: Quite overpriced for the quality. The interior is dated and the carpets everywhere look like they haven’t been cleaned ever. Air conditioning wasn’t working, and the explanation they gave sounded like an excuse. The hotel gym is in bad shape - very little equipment and all old and in poor shape. Positives: Breakfast buffet was nice. The staff is kind and helpful.
