"The staff were very helpful and friendly, there were lifts and a very open feel in reception and restaurant is big. The rooftop space is very modern and fresh and while the hotel is clean, it’s a little dated, lots of dark wood. Brilliant location."

"The breakfast area was almost full and some dishes were not replaced. There was fresh pineapple and and kiwi but tinned pear and peaches. Automated machine to make fresh pancakes with honey Nutella and maple syrup. Cakes and croissants which were almost over by 9.30 am. "

"Hotel is logistacally located by Leaning Tower of Pisa. Its clean and the room is spacious. No elevator but they carried our luggages up. Front desk very friendly and helpful. About a mile away from Pisa Centrale train station. Highly recommended."

"Avoid at all cost! The location of this hotel is excellent and impossible to fault. It is central, with a lovely position on the river, making it ideal for exploring the area. The included breakfast was also a positive, with a good variety of options to suit different tastes. Unfortunately, the negatives far outweighed the positives. There was almost no protection from outside noise, and the street noise was constant, especially early in the morning when the street cleaners started. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and clearly not fit for purpose. Every movement caused the frame to creak loudly, which was hardly surprising given it appeared to be made from plywood. As a result, we had an awful night’s sleep and decided to check out after just one night and stay somewhere else. There was also no proper hot water. We only discovered this the following morning when we turned on the shower, and the water was barely lukewarm. The bathroom itself was in very poor condition, with missing tiles, obvious poor-quality repairs, and a bathtub that looked discoloured and unclean. The staff were pleasant on arrival, but much less helpful when we raised these issues at check-out. They suggested we should have reported them sooner, but the problems only became apparent late at night and the following morning. Whilst I understand this is an old hotel that has a nice charm, the basic standards of comfort and cleanliness were not met!"

"Absolutely stunning scenery with beautiful rolling hills and surrounding wineries. Friendly and helpful staff. Seems to be family owned. If I were to suggest some areas of improvement, maybe the shower stalls can be cleaned more thoroughly. Breakfast varieties could also do with some expansion. But in general it was a wonderful stay! "
