"A beautiful building and the rooms were well furnished. However no food or hot drinks available. Hardly any personnel around Room not serviced and we used codes to get in and out. Not a place we would use again. "

"I was greeted very politely by a very busy member of staff. Service was a little slow but only because it is clearer a popular venue for locals as well as travellers. My room 14 was very comfortable and clean. There is a damp patch on the ceiling outside the ensuite door. Unfortunately i did not see any staff to show them as i left. A very convenient place to stay right in the centre of the lovely market town. "

Staff really friendly and we ate there in the evening and although it was fully booked they found us a table. Plenty of choice on menu and they had gluten free options which was great for us. Will stay there again."

"The staff are really welcoming and friendly. The facilities are a bit rundown and could do with a lick of paint. The menu choice is a bit limited and the restaurant times are short. The rooms are basic but clean and other than a hairdryer everything else is provided."
