"Einrichtung war wunderbar und unfassbar sauber, aufgeräumt und schön eingerichtet. Leider hatten wir das Gefühl inmitten einer Riesen Gruppe untergebracht zu sein die sich abends lautstark unterhalten was direkt im Blickfeld vor unserem Mobilehome war. Ansonsten war alles prima. Aber man sollte wissen dass die Nähe zum See nicht ganz so nah ist, wie es aussieht. Aber insgesamt ein tolles Konzept. Wunderschöne und saubere, moderne Anlage. Sehr freundlicher, zuvorkommender Kontakt und hilfsbereit."

"Really friendly staff, there a little hill to climb but location is nice. We had 2 beds, one was really small like a twin that was rough and we paid for the breakfast but they charge for an omelette which I didn’t think it was necessary."

"We loved our stay here. It was 4 nights at the end of a couple of weeks of interrailing and was just the bit of luxury and relaxation we needed. Room had a verandah with lovely lake and garden view. The air-con was much appreciated. The pool and the lake were perfect to cool off in and we always managed to find a lounger (early July) although not always a parasol. Snacks and drinks were available at the poolside. The setting is gorgeous on the side of Lake Orta with the most stunning scenery and so peaceful compared to other Italian Lakes. Water taxis call at the hotel and take you to various places. Don't miss Orta (Sacro Monte too), Isola San Giuilio and, if you are there on a Thursday, the boat ride to Omegna for the huge weekly market. We had breakfast every day and there was plenty of choice of hot and cold food and some options for us vegans: blueberry croissants, coconut yoghurts, oat milk etc plus lovely fresh and tinned fruit options. We dined in the restaurant on one evening right by the lake (some mosquitoes late on). My husband's pasta dish was lovely but my vegan 'terrine' was a bit disappointing and was not a terrine at all, more like a sausage shape made of mashed potato and other veg. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They arranged a taxi from Pettenasco station to the hotel for us and when we couldn’t get one for the return trip, organised other transport for us. Thank you Marco. We thoroughly recommend this hotel."

"Overall a fantastic hotel. Great breakfast. Pool was amazing with a good amount of sunbeds. It got very busy on the weekend compared to the weekdays. We felt that given the heatwave when we stayed they should have given us bottled water everyday not just randomly on 2 days as they appeared to do. Also there were a lot of corporate events on during the weekdays. The pool bar is very, very expensive. There is a supermarket bearby that is about 8 min walk but they lock you out of the minibar and you have to request access - so you can’t easily chill drinks. Also they add 5% service charge for your stay and they tell you this at checkout. They do say it’s optional but you feel obliged to pay it. Along with city taxes this can add a significant amount to your bill so be aware!"

"A true 5 Star Hotel. The view speaks for itself. We stayed in a corner room facing the Matterhorn. The staff was incredibly attentive from the moment a porter met us at the Zermatt station until they loaded our luggage onto our departing train. Since they are slower in the summer, the service felt concierge level at every turn. We took advantage of the spa and outdoor pool. Just be aware that the saunas are nude zone and co-ed. The Italian restaurant was excellent and the breakfast plentiful. Be sure to try the unaffiliated restaurant Alphitta just past the hotel toward the hiking trails."
