"Great view from the patio. The space is very large and perfect for our family of 4. It is very close to the entrance of the city so you don’t have too far to go with any luggage or bags. It could use a bit of an update but great for our one night stay. "

"We enjoyed our stay. You definitely need a car to get there. As going anywhere is atleast 25 mins. Staff was friendly. Had a little mixup at breakfast but overall, it was a pleasant visit. "

"The location is great, very centarl and close to restaurants and bars. You can walk to the old town from here. The host was super helpful and friendly. The breakfast and romm were excellent. Monemvasia is a very nice place, and local people are amazing! They are the friendliest in Greece. This is a place not to be missed!"

"5 stars! The Elea Mare is a fabulous value in an authentic Greek coastal village, run by a host (Greg) who personifies customer care. We can’t praise him enough for the warmth of his interactions with us! As an example, our young-adult daughter became mildly sick during our stay, and Greg provided tea and offered to check up on her when we left her in the hotel by herself for half a day. The hotel is a short walk from a small beach and town harbor and near several excellent dining options....

They even cultivate all their vegetables on-site, which adds a unique touch to every meal. Each room boasts its own distinctive decor, and the views of the surrounding landscape are simply breathtaking. "A special little gem. This family run property sits on a small bay across from Monavasia. You can easily walk over from the hotel. The room has everything you need. This isn’t a luxury spot, but well appointed. The newly renovated bathroom had shower gel, hand soap, and shampoo. There are bath and hand towels available. There is a blowdryer in the room, along with a frig. There’s a wardrobe from hanging items. My partner and I were here for just one night and found it just right for what we needed. There’s a stunning view of Monavasia, even though you can’t see the village, you see the rock. The owner is super sweet and accommodated our late arrival from Athens. There are tavernas just steps from the property all along the water. There’s ample street parking across from the property. Great for a quick overnight! "
