"1. Easy walk to Victoria ferry terminal 2. No air conditioning…room was very stuffy at check-in, window fan running in unsecured open slider window. Room did cool down by 8pm. There was an additional floor fan to stir the air. 3. Room was on ground floor, persons in 2nd floor room kept pacing until 11pm. Annoying. 4. Light fixture/exhaust fan in bathroom missing cover, bare light bulb showing. 5. Refrigerator/freezer missing handle, duct taped. The freezer was totally frosted up. Was able to squeeze ice pack into freezer, did not refreeze it. 6.refrigerator portion kept items cold enough. 7. Very hot water and good water pressure 8. Bathroom sink drained slowly, handle for stopper not attached. 9. 1/2” air gap between door and threshold. 10. Mattress is innerspring with innerspring foundation. Wiggly, partner could feel my tossing. 11. No nightlight 12. Nice laminate flooring, but rooms/furniture need serious updating. "

"Lot's of food options near by at walking distance. Decent condition room. Internet connectivity is poor. Bathrooms are in really poor shape. We didn't even had lock inside bathroom. "

"The property itself is outdated but the rooms are very clean and nice! The staff was wonderful during our stay. They are extremely accommodating to families. Overall, we would travel here again and would recommend it. "

"We booked the Woodland Bluff Lodge for our elopement and the entire area was WONDERFUL. The beautiful deck with a perfect view of the Pacific and an area to have a bonfire, with a hot tub near by to soak in the views. The home was clean, cozy and stocked with ample amounts of warm blankets and pillows! There was everything you could think of that one may need, and then some. The thoughtfulness of the lodge owners was such a highlight. We will be booking again!"

"Enjoyed the peace and quiet! Granny's cafe nearby, food was very good. If you are looking for a comfortable, quiet place, away from crowds but close to all of the sights, this place is perfect!"
