"We went for Lamar University Residency and this was one of the few hotels that didn’t have an issue. You never hit I-10 on the way to school so there’s never traffic. There’s a pool, wifi, free breakfast, gym, kitchenette so u can cook meals, full sized fridge and freezer, pots, pans, mini dishwasher, plates, bowls, iron, u name it, and it’s right across the street from restaurants and a shopping strip. And we mentioned that Residency doesn’t end until 1, so they gave us a late checkout free of charge until 2pm! This is what really sold us, how accommodating they were. They’re are police everywhere so don’t speed, not even 5 over. "
