Very nice pool in an enclosed area attached to the house. Pool was clean and not too much chemicals. Decent internet access with LED tv in living room and bedroom that you can stream. Kitchen stocked with basic dishes/utesils/pans. We brought our own air fryer to use in the house. Very quiet neighborhood.

Host not wear mask

My stay was fine, I was looking for a safe place to stay during COVID as to not expose my parents to our travels. The host did not wear or bring a mask when checking in, He did not even bring one with him. I did not want to enter the house with him, so he got mad and just left me the keys. I was concerned that he had been in the house without a mask, and I sanitized everything though it seemed clean. There was no sanitizer, Clorox or anything available in the house even though I was responsible for cleaning at end of stay. I bought cleaning supplies. Never an experience like that with a hotels.com property. I think before Covid it was probably fine.

Mini 4 night vacation.

We enjoyed the home and the private pool. The neighborhood was very quiet. It was close enough to great restaurants and entertainment. Absolutely would stay again.

What a great house. I stayed a week and found it clean, roomy and wonderful. The owner is great. One morning the A/C wasn’t working and I called and within two hours a man was there AND had it fixed! They are very prompt when you have a problem. My stay could not have been better. There’s plenty of dishes, towels and everything you need. Appliances are very new. Beds are clean and comfortable. I will certainly stay here again!

This house was perfect for us and our visit. It is remodeled nicely. Nothing fancy, but very neat, clean and kept up very well. The pool was a great amenity. We were able to relax and enjoy the weather out in the back and kids could swim. The house is well stocked with pretty much everything you might need to cook. It is located in the middle of a quiet, middle class residential neighborhood. Some homes looked very nice, some, a little on the shabby side, but it was very quiet and VERY safe. We loved the layout of the house and that it let in lots of natural sunlight. We would stay there again if we were to go back.

Chavaz House

This home was very clean and well kept. It had everything we needed for the week. The heated pool was great and we really enjoyed sitting on the patio to enjoy the weather. This was so much better than staying in a hotel. We really felt we were on vacation. The Chavaz House is within 10 minutes of most of Port Charlotte shopping and restaurants. and 15 minutes of Punta Gorda. Great location. Since we really like the Port Charlotte/ Punta Gorda area we definitely would rent this home again.
