"Amazing location for us as we were there for dance festival and were a 5 minute walk to the performing arts centre, breakfast was made fresh daily for us and our dog was welcome to join us free of charge
Very funky accommodations and we enjoyed our stay"
"When you have never been somewhere before, you have low expectations. I have to say that this hotel was way better than I expected. Not that I thought it was going to be bad but that it was very good and a very pleasant surprise!
The common areas were clean and looked after. The rooms were clean and looked after. Two positives right there. Every hotel has a little wear and tear, can’t be helped with people coming and going, carrying overpacked cases. This hotel wears it well…. The odd nick here and there but really well looked after. Starts with the well manicured grounds and goes right into the hotel. Well done!
Next is the beds, etc. Let’s face it. We’re actually there to sleep. It’s funny how many hotels overlook this. The beds were firm but very comfortable just the way we like them. And my personal pet peeve, is pillows. So many hotels have little tiny pillows, thin pillows just terrible for a side sleeper. Great if you’re a back sleeper. Why hotels that have four pillows can’t have two for a back sleeper and two for a side sleepers beyond me! This hotel pillows were very good. Fairly thick and fairly firm, giving my head and neck to support that I’m looking for. So two thumbs up!
The only downside to the hotel was breakfast. It’s not the largest hotel so I understand not having the large variety and amounts that some other bigger hotels might have on site. That said, bagels, toast cereals are always available.
Overall, great stay. They do the important things right!"
"A charming place by the water Because of some miscommunication we only stayed one night out of our planned 4 days but not their fault and they went over and above to make sure we were refunded from Expedia. Next time book direct. We will certainly stay next trip to Rupert to visi family "
