"It is a beautiful, well maintained resort in a gorgeous area. But this is where it stops. If you are expecting the standards of a Hilton hotel, look elsewhere. First, you go on the beach hoping for some relaxing time. But you get continuously pestered by sales people from the hotel who are trying to sell you this safari and this dive and what not. This was truly annoying, especially that in conversations, they get too familiar with you and start asking personal questions about things that they have no business inquiring about. One of these had a very slick presentation and we signed on to an exotic trip. We ended up in a beaten car driven by some maniac who drove 150km/hr on a road where the speed limit is 100km/hr, and a car that felt like it would break apart any minute. Then, the trip overran its time and we had to cut it short. The pricing is left to the usual bazar-like haggling, which is another layer of annoyance. Why can't the hotel just put fixed prices and make everything clear on check in and be done with that? Also, when you go there, don't sign for any of the restaurants! We signed up for one night, the food was cold, the bread came straight from the fridge, and everything felt like you are being gouged price-wise. I complained to the staff, and they apologized, rather profusely, but I had to pay for it because "the system is too complicated and once an entry is made it cannot be removed"- said the lame excuse of the property manager. The worst Hilton experience"
"We really enjoyed our stay at Jaz Neo Reef, absolutely wonderful, very relaxing and heavenly atmosphere around. Everything was amazing, the room, the staff who were very welcoming and helpful.
Big thanks to all the staff who made our stay comfortable and special thanks to reception team for the express check in, and to Mr. Shehab who did his best to accommodate us in our preferred room."
"Sataya was one of the best places we have experienced in Egypt.
The only negatives were:
Wheels on bed didn't lock
Sales people had to be told multiple times daily,"when we want you we will find you, until then no thank you!"
Otherwise we greatly enjoyed our trip and hope to return someday.

"It's a lovely hotel: very clean, very high standards of food and drinks, and very attentive staff in the beach, dining and social areas.
However some of the reception staff were very unhelpful and made me feel uncomfortable at times. Particularly as I booked initially for 1 person - the room cost is the same for 1 and 2 but I thought to be a bit more eco friendly they could then leave fewer towels etc. When I tried to add a second person they refused and said it would be additional cost, even when I showed them their own website that the cost for 1 and 2 people was the same so I'd essentially already paid. It was only when I asked them to tell me how much it would cost that they finally agreed to add the person, and even then did not update the system properly so that when they arrived the next morning they had no record. I'd have expected much better service from such a luxury hotel, it just seemed like they were out to get more money even though they were already making more from me as a single guest.
The stay was otherwise great but this really put a sour note on it"
"Beautiful property, clean, good food, great service. The manager Alaa always taking care of it's guests helping with any questions or service needed. Very kind and humble people throughout the whole resort. And the water and corals are amazing plenty of sea life yo enjoy snorkeling every day

"Really amazing hotel! I would recommend this 100% if you’re looking to stay in a hotel that offers great food, great entertainment and overall a great experience. They had things that stood out to us like gluten free bread!!! It’s not a common thing to have in Egypt so this was great to see. They also catered for lactose intolerance. They had a thing you scan where it has all the info you need instead of the typical paper print hotels usually give out. The food was good and with a lot of varieties and uniqueness. The view of the sea was amazing although the beach isn’t the best but that’s common in many hotels in Egypt. The rooms were clean and modern. The pools were clean too! They had an adult area with tons of fun games by the pool which was very unique
The only negative thing was I wish they served actually Pepsi/cola and not the fake one they serve because it tasted bad. I also wish they had more mocktail options in the pool bars to enjoy! "
