"Superb location, metres from the slipway and harbour. Close to costal footpath and walk to Port Gaverne, restaurant, pubs and cafes. Very cosy cottage with wood burner. A few minor things like no fridge light, a few cobwebs but nothing to put anyone off. Well equipped kitchen and rear shared courtyard. I would return! "

"The property wasn’t in the placeI it stated caravan Park.Atlantic Bays holiday Park . The post code we ended up in a farm. Not happy. Eventually after a1.30 hours we got to the above place. There was no information which lodge .The lodge itself was grotty needs to be updated wall in bedrooms need to be bit higher. I got a cold it was damp bit tight for family "

"The actual property itself was ok not particularly comfortable for a family of four.The area is quiet though but steep as yiu can expect in Cornwall. There was no welcome pack and communication was non existent and therefore rating the whoke experience terrible. "

"This property is truly a gem and so is the little town of Charleston. The Studio is immaculately maintained and comfortable - you can feel the owners’ love and effort put into maintaining it, which is so rare to come by these days. Floors, bathroom and surfaces were spotless. The bed was warm and so comfortable. Amenities are as listed. Owner/host, Antonia, is a wonderful and lovely lady (I miss her already!). "Set in a beautiful location right by a pretty little beach. This hotel is hard to beat. Wonderful friendly staff who were all so helpful. Special thanks to Luke for taking extra care over my dietary requirements due to being coeliac and to Jack the manger for your kindness. Extra bonus points for selling Bath Gem gluten free beer! We absolutely loved our stay and we couldnt recommend this hotel highly enough. We cant wait to visit again. Thank you."

"What a beautiful location and welcoming staff. They truly do have the best food in all of Cornwall! I love how they were very eco-conscious and everything even had vegan foie gras. I enjoyed the spa experience. The only thing missing was some flip-flops because the stones were sort of hard to walk on. I enjoyed a hike down to the beach and afterwards had a nice massage at the spa with Stephanie. She was great."

"Had a lovely 2 night stay at The Beresford Hotel. My daughter and I shared a sea view twin room with ensuite. On arrival it looks quite run down and parking isnt great and is limited, however if you get a space they print a sign stating your name and reg number for £5 per night. This ensures you a parking space. We had an Assistance Dog and a retired Assistance Dog, who is now old and nothing was too much trouble and thevwere made to feel welcome, along with us. The beds were comfortable and the room was well equipped, personally the small table and chairs were brilliant for me as I like to write. The bathroom was clean and had all you needed. The seaview was amazing and the cost of thr room was fantastic. We will be returning again soon. Thank you. "
