"Hidden Valley Waiheke was a highlight of our trip. The setting feels private and immersed in nature, yet still thoughtfully designed and incredibly comfortable. It feels intentional rather than styled, calm rather than performative.
The host communication was excellent. Clear instructions regarding access, proactive guidance about the steep driveway (with helpful tips), and responsive email communication made arrival seamless and expectations well managed.
Waking up to valley views and birdsong felt like a genuine reset. A rare, beautifully resolved retreat on Waiheke.

"I booked this place even though it was a little dearer than Waiheke Resort next door, because the other place had a few bad reviews about check-in only being open between 2-4pm etc, and the bar was closed early etc. So we rocked up at nearly 4pm to check in, and wow it’s the same place!! "
