"After 16 hours of travel Arrived Jamaica night time to be told by accommodation caretaker "no electricity so best not to come". Drove around in taxi trying to find alternative accommodation for the night. Next morning went to view accommodation, NOTHING LIKE DESCRIPTION. Horrible. We expected 1 bedroom entire apartment, instead poky room and share amenities, a guest already there. Looks like building site in front, ugly shack for view. Church almost adjoining which apparently gets really loud....

"The cost of the room I paid was 200 us dollars . The floor was just stone ground, uneven, with bamboo around it, they plugged a fridge with extensions, a toilet that wouldn't flush, a shower with a few drops of water coming. It must have been a nice concept back in the days, but it'svery run down and so dusty. It was also dirty with spider webs around the corners. The bed had dust in the corners, the mosquito net had holes. "

"The view from the property overlooking the sea was beautiful and phenomenal. The room space was sufficient and clean. What I didn’t like was the fact that to get there, the drive up to the house was very steep and if you don’t know how to handle the drive, it’s problematic.
