The location was great. It was clean, just outdated. The mattress appeared to be very old but was a surprisingly good sleep. I've visited other Baymonts by Wyndham that were more up to date and charged less. The wifi was very weak and the elevator didn't work.

Great place to stay and close to the beach. I really appreciated that check-out was at noon instead of 11am. It was a blessing for those of us who tend to get places later than we'd like to. Would absolutely stay here again, lovely air conditioned room.

The young lady who checked us in was very polite. Once inside our room which was a double queen suite, there was a note on the toilet that said, toilet not working. Went back downstairs to let the staff know. They put us in a double queen regular room. The bedding had stains on them. Stained bedding should be discarded. We ended up just going back home to Milwaukee after the to concert at 12 midnight instead of staying the night.

Don’t have high expectations. This hotel just fufills the basics. A bed, small fridge, microwave, lounge chair, iron with ironing board and bathroom. All the basics you need in one. The staff were pretty kind and it is pet-friendly lodging. However, don’t expect the highest quality. There were stains on some of the towels and pillows. Part of the carpet floor smelled like fresh puke (wish i was kidding). There was a hole on the bathroom ceiling and the vents did not work. If you are just wanting the essential for cheap then this is the hotel for you. If you want quality, look elsewhere.

The hotel itself is just old and worn out, and it has a dilapidated feel to it. It wasn't filthy, but it wasn't very clean. The room's A/C didn't regulate very well; it was either very cold or semi-warm and sticky, leaving the room with a musty smell. The service Coletta provided to us was outstanding! She was quick to help in every way we needed. When we arrived, we found the bedside lamp unusable due to the knob being broken off; within 15 minutes of reporting it, she was there with a different lamp. The TV quit working on day 2, and she again showed up within 15 minutes with a different TV to put in our room. Both times she apologized for the inconvenience to us. The breakfast was ok. The first day the biscuits and gravy were cold, but on the second, third, and fourth days they were warm. There was no variety; every day was the same food. Wifi was sketchy and would not stay connected very well, and when it did, it was very slow. The location was good and the price was reasonable. Coletta was the highlight of the stay.

The bathroom floor was rotting so it would kind of give away a little when you stood in front of the shower. The toilet was a little tippy. We had to reset our key three times because the card wouldn’t stay magnetized. The breakfast was nice.

The Expedia rating was not too bad, so I was shocked by the actual condition of this hotel. It looks nothing like the photos. The property is much older and poorly maintained. The elevator was out of service, the floors were heavily stained and dirty, the iron was broken, the toilet tank was sticky, and there were stains on the bedsheets and towels. Housekeeping was not provided unless specifically requested. The list goes on. The room constantly felt damp and had a strange, unclean smell. This is also a pet-friendly hotel, which is something anyone with pet allergies should keep in mind. I was also very uncomfortable with the environment around the hotel. There were frequently people lingering in the parking lot, smoking, walking around, and staring at guests. It reached the point where I did not feel safe walking through the parking lot or even the hotel hallways. The biggest problem was the internet. I checked in early specifically to complete an online training course, but the connection was so slow and unreliable that it repeatedly dropped out. After considerable back-and-forth with both the hotel and Expedia, the hotel finally gave me access to the front-desk Wi-Fi, which was only slightly better than the guest network. Overall, this was a very disappointing and frustrating stay. The condition, cleanliness, safety concerns, and unreliable internet were completely unacceptable, and the hotel did not come close to what was advertised.
