The Cabin was clean and tidy. This offers affordable accommodation with two rooms & small Kitchen. Good location to Portland’s tourist attractions & general amenities. Staff were very helpful & our late check in was really easy!

Reasonably ok for a cabin in a small town. Not much of the facilities and the playground was closed.

Hi Yoke,Thank you for your review.Our playground is open until 8pm during daylight hours, it does have a security fence and gate which was closed so may have looked like it was locked, but I can assure you that it wasn't.The cabin you chose to stay in was one of our standard style cabins and although it sleeps 6 people (2 adults and 4 children comfortably) it is not really designed to accommodate 4 adults and 2 older children. For your comfort I would suggest that should you choose to stay again please select one of the larger cabins that will more readily accommodate a bigger group of adults and pre-adults.Kind RegardsThe TeamPortland Tourist Park

Convenient for an overnight stay.
The basics provided in a cabin that is need of updating. The park provided playground facilities and would be in demand for families in summer. Clean linen provided, however we needed our own sleeping bags for a cold winter night.

Good location and wild life close by
This is a must go to site to see Koala's close by. They surround the site in gum trees and can be viewed really easily, we saw 7 on our stay in April. You might get lucky and see one on the ground changing trees. Good location, clean sheets, bathroom and kitchen.

Disappointing stay.
Stove not working. Shower dripping. Cabin in poor condition ie sliding door handle loose and screen door had no handle. Lightning poor around cabin possible trip hazard. Cabin next door noisey till after 2 am, and being close to managers resident no action.

Wouldn't stay here again.
The price was very reasonable but the appliances and floor coverings need replacing, they are worn out. The place was not clean at all when we arrived, I don't think the floor had ever been swept. Good location to visit the are.

Air Conditioner noisy and Beds uncomfortable.
Overall I would give it a 2 or 3 out of 5, you could stay there if you had to but nothing exciting. Air Conditioner sounded like it was going to shake off the wall. Only a 3 seat couch for a 5 person room. And only 4 chairs around the table and 4 items of cutlery / crockery. Tiny TV. Birds very noisy at 5am every morning. Bathroom in major need of renovating (all clothes hooks broken off, paint missing from walls etc). Jumping pillow was fun for the kids.

Just a very tired and Dated cabin needed a good clean surrounding area very tired grotty and falling apart I paid $120.00 a night but there are nicer clean places to stay for that money

Very old cabin accommodation on a very basic site.
The accommodation was a very basic, old cabin. There was no fly wire on the entrance door, there were problems with the small flat screen TV and the lounge area light did not work. The manager was very sorry about these things and did what he could to rectify them. The site had no recreational facilities other than a children's play area. The only real answer is a total refurbishment. For $110 a night, not good value at all.

That old feelin'
For the amount of money this place cost per night, it is okay. The kitchen was not as well stocked with kitchen ware as I would have liked and the outside of the stove oven (bottom end) could use more cleaning. Other than that, the beds, sheets and general cleanliness was good, even though the furnishing and finish was old, more to the point of retro. [felt like I had just stepped into my grandma's old caravan :) ]

We have stayed at his park before and found it great , but this time we have to say that the condition of the rooms was disgusting. the floors were in need of a wash the oven had been left on and the front of it was dirty. The range hood could of done with a wipe down. Complained to the manger and he ensured us that the problem was it be rectified but all they done was washed the dried red wine from the floor
