"Needed the reservation for our daughter’s marriage in March. I accidentally booked the dates in April. Since I knew we had to be there for the wedding so clicked the no cancellation button. Then I realized instantly I had booked the wrong month. They would not allow a refund. Hotels .com did not allow it. I contacted them and they tried to get a refund however the manager refused. We live 1656 miles from Portland so the room remained empty for those days"

"Palm Court restaurant awesome, best waiters especially Keith M who took such great care of me and my colleagues! I brought 5 new people to the Benson over 2 weeks because I loved it so much and they wanted to see it. Spacious rooms, great carpet, lots of blankets, everything fresh and new. Very friendly staff always at the front desk. "

"It was clean and nice, upscale and boutique-ish. The bedroom is much smaller than expected, and shown in the photo. Good for the price and style if you're OK with having very little space."
