The pool area had no tables or chairs to sit would’ve been nice. The area around here is terrible we took a 5 minute walk down the street and back and saw several tents and more multiple drug addicts and people dedicating in the street and sleeping on the side walk or in door ways. I didn’t feel safe or comfortable.

Duniway Hôtel is not like it used to be pre-pandemic. It used to be our favorite hotel. The quality has definitely declined drastically because of homelessness and increase in crime in downtown Portland. The amenities has very poor standards and the value for the money is nowhere near a 5-star hotel. It’s overpriced and overrated. We’ll never go back to Duniway Portland.

I love that there is an indoor gym and indoor pool. The suite is absolutely worth the spend and the surrounding area is really nice. Just be cautious while out and about.

Great stay. Loved the extra large room. Checkin was easy. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Evening bar service was not good. Staff seemed they'd prefer to be anywhere else. So, we took our business elsewhere after that.

Otherwise excellent stay marred by toiletries
My sole criticism is that the toiletries provided were highly unpleasant, too floral, scent too strong. The smell made me nauseated. Try something citrusy instead. I was also a little disappointed that the bar closed at 11:00. Otherwise an excellent stay. Loved the room! Staff were universally helpful. *Next time* I’ll bring a bathing suit!

This was my second stay in 60 days. The rooms are spacious. Live music in the lobby/lounge area exceptional. All transportation options are available. Dining options are incredible and close by. Lighting in the room needs to be improved. It is incredibly difficult to read, pick out clothing colors or put on makeup between dusk and dawn. The restaurant within the hotel, Mayrose, needs to list menu items that have nuts. I ordered, and double checked with staff, a nut free menu item that had nuts in it when delivered to the table. It was handled quickly and satisfactory, but my confidence was shattered. We did not eat here again.
