Fantastic location with well appointed rooms - balcony overlooking busling streets were great for people watching. Comfortable & stylish. Lots of bars & restuarants in easy walking distance. Kitchen was missing some utnesils but otherwise all ameneties were excellent. Recommend.
Clean, location is convenient for uber accessible to the airport and does who can’t live without Starbucks is around the corner !
Katherine is super nice and accommodating!
Great location and really cool contemporary design for our space. We rented a 2 bedroom for our group of friends to stay while in Porto. Although the translucent walls didn’t leave much for privacy, we enjoyed it.
The room was very nice and clean. Everything was good until night time. We had the room right above the restaurant and it was so loud. The restaurant closed at 12am but then for the next hour you could hear all the staff cleaning until around 1am. Location was really good but such a shame about the noise
Check in was easy. The apartment is long and slender , very cool interior. Amazing large shower and bathroom . The bed was comfortable..Very safe and clean. Good little kitchen area but only one wineglass, cutlery set, the bathroom wall socket was lose and only one toilet roll !!! also small cracks in the concrete floor with lose tile . Overall I like the apartment. We ate downstairs one night. Loved the food the chef was incredible and the floor staff lovely and the restuarant had a great vibe.
Nice spacious room in a perfect location - everything is within walking distance. Clear self check in instructions were sent ahead of our arrival, and it was easy to get in touch with the host if needed.
Unfortunately the 1st floor room we stayed in was very noisy due to the restaurant downstairs - we expected a little noise but didn't expect the loud music until gone 1am every night. It would also have been nice to have more than 2 coffee capsules for the coffee machine and more than 1 mug, as we were 2 people staying for 4 nights.
Great place to stay as this was near all amenities. There was a mini supermarket nearby, tourist attractions and the room we had had doors that closed off the noise from the busy main street. The place was on the second floor above the restaurant with a great shower, had a fridge and a mini area to prepare/store food. The only thing was bins weren't emptied daily but we could take that to a bin outside.
Babel was AMAZING! We got an upgrade to the apartment and it didn’t disappoint. So modern and clean, in the most traditional part of town. The sister restaurant below is also incredible. The only minor problem was communicating with the staff (it is unmanned), so we were a bit unsure how to check-in. But once we got in touch, everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Our room was very nice, the bed was comfortable and the location is excellent. Everything is within easy walking distance and the Trasca restaurant just 50m served excellent tapas. I would recommend it however be aware, there is NO information available in the hotel as the front desk is deserted, the duvet cover was stained which we advised them of on the first night and the next evening they finally saw our message and wanted to leave it until we left but finally agreed and someone came to change it. This is also the only place we have ever stayed that did not have any soap in the shower or sink, never mind shampoo. Those last items were annoyances but didn’t impact our stay.
The apartments themselves are great, and it was a nice touch to have access to free hot and cold water on the floor. However, our experience was let down by a few key issues. With two nights left in our stay, I requested more toilet paper and received a response of “Sure!”—but nothing was ever delivered. We ended up having to go out and get our own. I followed up with the owner but never received a reply.
Additionally, we were locked out one evening due to a malfunctioning keypad. When we called for help, we were told someone would arrive in 20 minutes. It ended up being closer to 35, and we only got in because another guest happened to be leaving.
Overall, while the space itself was lovely, it would make a big difference to have more reliable communication and support—especially for essentials like toilet paper and basic access to the building.
The location was perfect! Right in the middle of everything, with a metro station two streets over. The instructions they gave us were clear and everything was easy and convenient. But be aware that there is no elevator! We had to carry our bags three floors up.
The room offers plenty of space and was clean but the couch was broken in the middle. You couldn't really use it.
The worst part was the bathroom. Black and poorly lit, you couldn't see anything, if it was clean or not. There was no circulation in the bathroom and the whole room smelled musty after a shower. The shower had great pressure and was pleasant but the warm water wasn't enough for two people. You had to wait for 20 minutes for the water to get warm again.
Short break to Porto for the Half Marathon in September. Really convenient location, close by lots of good places to eat and good travel connections. Room was exactly what I needed - clean, quiet and a comfy bed.
