I am a business woman from North America ,stayed 2 nights plus 1 months at this hotel. The Assistant manger Rita and rest of the staffs are amazing . I give 1 star because the manager Pedro Martingo. I do hope my staying experience can be improved. Pedro always seems grumpy and impatient , There is no “ good morning or good afternoon “, no eye contact , a few times he was talking to me but all of sudden, walked away without acknowledgement. It is consider extremely rude in English speaking culture. After I made payment , there is no “ thank you” or “ enjoy your style “, which is basic hospitality standard. When I made a 30 days agreement staying at this hotel, he acted didn’t care. The entire conversation was as if I am in a less position than him, it lacks of basic respect to a customer. When I asked to find possible the best window view , he replied coldly” you chose the basic room, the cheapest one.” It is very awkward, humiliating and loud. A few times he was arguing with me on some small choice words, pointless and nonsense. He used the word “ strange “ twice on me. In English culture , it is considered very insulting.again, I just paid and stay this hotel for another 30days, I hope he can improve his professional manner and English speaking , maybe he should take some school.
