Great stay. Even though the hotel is a bit old dated, the managers do an amazing job in keeping it. They make their best to satisfy the customers’ needs. The hotel is close enough to the city’s historic center, so you can even walk there. My only recommendation would be to change the stairs’ carpet.

Worst experience

Staff don’t speak english and was not helpful at all. During first day the toilet in our room broken because some other guest before us threw something. Later it was only worse with toilet and communication. They did not fix it for 4 days. Staff was rude and was screaming on us. Room was Old and very noisy. Plus for everyday cleaning. Worst Travel experience so far.

As fotos e informações não condizem com a realidade. Nao tem piscina, vinicula, bar, etc... Para ter acesso à varanda e a janela do quarto é dentro do banheiro. Ou seja o quarto não tem ventilacao.

Excelente hotel no Porto

Simplesmente foi a extensão da minha casa. Sr. João, uma simpatia, a alegria em pessoa. O que dizer do Sr. Wagner? Que profissional incrível! Nos ajudou o tempo todo com os roteiros, dicas de lugares restaurantes, nos deslocamentos, passeios, foi demais! A limpeza foi foi impecável. O pequeno almoço de primeira qualidade. Só temos elogios para a equipe do Sol da Nave. Super recomendo.

Tyvärr så ”tillkom” det kostnad för vi var 2 personer. Fast vi bokade o fick konfirmerat att det var bokat för 2 pers. Så lustiga €20 tillkom pga det. Orkade inte bråka då de talar pissdålig engelska. Vatten kostar €5:40 för en 1,5 liters. Via toaletten kom man till en terass. Känns som ett rip-off ställe.

Das Sol da Nave liegt etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums auf dem Hügel. Zu Fuss, aber auch mit Bus oder Metro, ist man in kurzer Zeit im Zentrum. Das Zimmer ist einfach, aber sauber. Die Besitzer sind sehr hilfsbereit, die Kommunikation jedoch nicht ganz einfach, da sie portugiesisch sprechen und nur wenige Brocken englisch. Mit Hilfe eines Handy-Ubersetzungsapp und mit Händen und Füssen klappt es aber irgendwie trotzdem :-). Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt definitiv.

Limpieza muy bien es lo que mas destacaría aún siendo unas instalaciones antiguas hemos descansado muy bien nos ibamos después de desayunar y no volvíamos hasta la noche, desayuno bien la atención muy bien nos facilito un parking enfrente a buen precio y la situacion del hotel es buena para visitar Oporto.

A great family running operation. Incredible service done with the utmost goodwill. My sheets were changed every single day! Room& bathroom - sparkling after cleaning - daily. Wonderful breakfast w, coffee, in my case, every morning. Presuming a return to Porto I would not hesitate to book again.

Excellent hotel

Very nice hotel. Owners helpful and accommodating. The hotel is a15 minute walk into town however there is a bus stop outside hotel. Would stay again.

Juan, his wife and his other friend who makes breakfast make you feel you are part of the family. A wonderful Porto experience. They even folded our washing. They cleaned the room perfectly every day, changed the sheets daily and Juan gave me a bottle of port to enjoy. The hotel is small basic but it has everything you need and it is far enough away from the worst of the 'touristica' troubles of the center. Good restaurants are nearby and we walked easily to the river and sights. Very nice people.
