We were greeted warmly by Loures, our host who showed us to our room. She made recommendations for places to eat and visit and could not have been more helpful. The accommodation was well positioned, modern and clean. Our luggage was stored for us after checkout until our evening flight. Highly recommend.

The room was small but very clean, modern, comfortable and had a ton of storage space in drawers and cabinets. The host was very friendly and was on sight to answer questions while she worked. She told us about a cute little coffee shop, The Flamingo, that we enjoyed right near the hotel. Our location was about a 20 min walk to the Dom Luís Bridge. The closer to the Rubeira the more expensive it will be. We liked the affordability of this location.

We had such a wonderful stay at Sophia Oporto! Lourdes was an amazing host, so welcoming, kind, and genuinely sweet. She gave us great recommendations and ideas for things to do around Porto, and she was always readily available by phone whenever we needed anything. She truly made us feel at home. The room itself was extremely clean, comfortable, and beautifully kept. The shared amenities were also very accessible, spotless, and hygienic. The entire property felt clean, private, and peaceful, and we had no issues with noise or disturbances throughout our stay. Lourdes’ warmth and hospitality really made the experience extra special. Such a wholesome and lovely host! We would absolutely recommend Sophia Oporto and would happily stay here again.

We were really pleased with our stay and were warmly welcomed by the host Lourdes. Our room was compact but very clean and comfortable, it felt very modern. Great bathroom and we appreciated the ability to store our luggage in a locker after we had checked out and before our flight.

Lurdes the manager is extremely helpful and kind and made us feel right at home. The property is about a 15 minute walk to Porto's historic district and we never felt too far out, quiet and tucked away and great value. Unfortunately the washroom had a strong sewage smell, which was very bad and present each time we left the room and came back. We brought this up; however it was not addressed. Otherwise the room was very clean and didn't have many other issues.
