We enjoyed staying here. The restaurants in the area are good, not far from the tram and Clegis cathedral square. Easy pick up site with Uber. If yiu don’t need a car, don’t rent one. The parking g lit up the hill at Justice was 32 euros per day. A car is not needed in Porto.

Beautifully decorated space, excellent condition and pristine - a lot of thought and care has gone into these rooms and it shows! The only downside to our stay was unfortunately a major issue for me - I have mobility difficulties and had requested a room on or near the ground floor, as I had seen reviews that there's only stairs. Unfortunately, shortly before our stay we were informed that this wasn't possible and our room was on the top floor. It was too late for us to find another hotel. I had to use the stairs, which was very slow, painful and exhausting due to my medical condition. The owner was polite but put all the blame on an automatic room allocation. I appreciated the polite attitude, but I couldn't go sightseeing in the city at all. Hotel highly recommended for the able-bodied, as it is truly beautiful. But if you have mobility issues, I strongly recommend choosing somewhere else unless you really want to make a huge drama with reception and maybe you'll get a different room - my politeness got me nowhere but an apology and trying to drag myself up the stairs.

This was our favorite place we stayed at in Portugal. We loved the spacious room with a loft-style kitchen and king bed and large shuttered windows. Porto can get loud at night with the close buildings and narrow alleys but you can avoid this by keeping the windows closed and turning on the AC. We also loved the proximity to everything…we ended up extending our stay!

L’arrivée et le départ sont aisés. La chambre est exactement comme dans les photos et les descriptions : grande, propre, lumineuse, … C’est un immeuble complètement rénové, (vieille ville européenne, donc pas d’ascenseur), mais les escaliers sont très larges pour monter facilement la valise. Le quartier est en périphérie du quartier historique, près de la tour des Clerigos (clercs), à côté du mirador de Virtudes, Des jeunes (surtout) et des moins jeunes s’y assemblent tous les soirs pour admirer les plus beaux couchers de soleil à Porto en octobre. Le pont Louis 1er, la gare Sāo Bento, et la plupart des attraits touristiques sont à moins de 30 minutes de marche, mais j’y arrive toujours après 1h, voire 90 minutes. Je vous le recommande fortement. Merci Verónica, j’espère y retourner.

Small but efficient room. It is a 4 story bldg without an elevator. I selected a unit that did not face the street because I didn't know how soundproof the room would be. There is quite a bit of noise on the street, lots of cars and the cobble stones are naturally noisy. The unit is a stones throw from the Virtudes Garden which is a popular spot for viewing sunsets as the river views are stunning. We were a 6 min. walk down stairs to the Ribeira near the Customs Bldg. Veronica is very helpful and arranged our airport car.

Loved the location and the accommodation. Communication was over the top. Quick response to any inquiry and Veronica provided additional information about favorite restaurants. Most of the historical sites are close by. Close to the bridge to go visit the port tastings. Porto is hilly so be prepared for climbs no matter where you decide to perch for a night or two.
