Le Balamina

"We were very kindly received at the reception desk after we „survived” a deception on our arrival in Porto Vecchio, because the owner of the apartment we had originally booked pretended that he had cancelled the booking, which was not true. The staff at Le Balamina made us feel safe regarding our stay in Porto Vecchio. We also had a delicious continental breakfast. We can‘t but recommend this Hotel which is not far from the port."
Hotel Moderne

"Hotel Moderne is an elegant gem in the busy centre of Porto-Vecchio. Arrival and departure were very easy -- we communicated via Expedia/WhatsApp beforehand, and Joana sent clear instructions for driving to the drop-off spot directly in front of the hotel, and for the private gated parking a 5-minute stroll away, which even had a charging point for our electric car -- so convenient (don't forget to reserve in advance)! Reception was also able to arrange a last-minute taxi/driver for us to go to dinner just outside town, though also recommended arranging this well in advance. We only stayed for 2 nights and I suspect like most guests, we spent most of our time out and about exploring the nearby beaches and Bonifacio, but Hotel Moderne was a lovely place to return to and wake up in -- the room was cool (great A/C), clean, modern, comfortable (big king-sized bed) and elegant, and mostly quiet even with World Cup games being celebrated just outside. (Maybe bring earplugs if you're VERY sensitive to noise overnight.) Highly recommend as a charming oasis in Porto-Vecchio, and we were so happy with our choice."

"Amazing hotel!! Incredible pool (pool towels included), clean and well equipped rooms with loads of space. Newly equipped with a great breakfast too. Small gym but does the job but an overall great hotel."

"Exceptional hotel. Pool and rooms were perfect staff were super helpful. Location is great and very quiet, yet still close enough to bars and restaurants and the shuttle bus to town is also really handy. Highly recommend. Only minor issue ac in room was not great. But still a lovely hotel"

"Enjoyed stay. Large clean room, friendly staff. The small heated swimming pool was a nice surprise. Spa was only let-down. Gym equipment only adequate really and bike did not work for me, fancied using jacuzzi and sauna but disappointed that each could only be used for a fee which felt too high. Gave them a miss."
