We love the location and ambiance of our room. Our stay was short but sweet! We ate at the Black Trumpet, Great food and service. Downtown Portsmouth has great restaurants and shopping as well. A must stop when you’re in the area.

This hotel is so amazing! I am picky about hotels and honestly, this was one of the best I’ve ever stayed at in my life! It was so cute and eclectic, great location, owner was so accommodating. Great for a couples get away!

Historic and Charming Inn

The Inn Downtown was very charming, well-appointed, clean, and extremely convenient to everything that downtown Portsmouth has to offer. The arrangements for check-in and check-out were straightforward, and the communications from the owner/manager were excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

The accommodation is located in a charming historic building in a great vibrant village-like town. The interior space has a mid mod vibe, and is spacious, and easy to use. Had a nice dinner, as recommended, a nice walk to the waterfront and a nice ice cream. Pretty perfect!

Room was so charming and clean. Everything looked so neat first walking into the room. When originally booking the room, I was no aware of the history of it and made my partner fall in love with the place more. Great spot in downtown Portsmouth. Easy self check-in, lovely room with snacks and drinks available for purchase, and very comfortable. Easy to get to without dealing with too much Portsmouth traffic, and it’s walkable to all the things you’d want to do downtown. We will absolutely stay here again!

Property was really clean and quaint. What we really liked is that the building was converted into a modern-day inn using an apartment building format. All restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance and the town of Portsmouth is a place we will definitely visit again.

Amazing place! Abby the property manager was so patient to answer my questions and she helped us to extend our stay when we asked her. The place is so modern, comfortable and clean. The location is perfect for easy walking to restaurants and shops. Instructions on stay were clear and I asked for an extra blanket and it was provided. Just a really great place to enjoy Portsmouth, NH.

We were very pleasantly surprised about the Inn. Everything was intentional and all the finishes, from the bedding, fridge and furniture, were all high quality and comfortable. We even got a pack n' play and half expected a Chico or similar brand, but they even brought a high-end brand name for that. We'd recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be back!

This was a great location however the property itself felt very dark inside and not a lot of lamps. Perhaps it was too modern with the dark black walls by the bed. Communication through a 3rd party also made it slightly challenging.
