"The location of this hotel is great. Generally clean, nice pool. But the shower/toilet part of the bathroom needs hooks and towel racks. It’s a small thing but it was inconvenient for sure. "
"I recently stayed here and had a mixed experience. The hotel is new and clean, but I had two issues during my stay.
First, the windows in the room were screwed and glued shut and could not be opened for fresh air. Staff said this was to keep flies out, although the windows had screens, so that explanation didn’t fully make sense to me. The room also had a noticeable fragrance, which I found unpleasant, especially since I’m sensitive to strong scents. Being unable to ventilate the room made that worse.
Second, the noise insulation seemed extremely limited. I could clearly hear a neighboring guest snoring and conversations and footsteps from the room above. It was loud enough that I needed earplugs and headphones to sleep.
One smaller note: the bath products contained sulfates fairly high on the ingredient list. For a hotel in this price range, I would have expected more eco-conscious or higher-quality products.
Overall, the building is clean and rooms are large, but people who are sensitive to noise, fragrances, or who like fresh air in hotel rooms may want to keep these things in mind."
"First off, I had emailed them weeks before my arrival! The communication was the worst I have ever had! When, you call the phone number, no one answers and it goes straight to voicemail! Then you get a text saying… how can I help you! It took them over an hour just to get back to me about my reservation! Someone should be on the property at all times! I did not stay because the contact said that I had a tent reservation and not one of the houses and that they were already booked for that day! So, I canceled it!"
"Unique, upscale glamping experience!
Loved the setting and the amenities on-site, like the food, s'mores, live music, craft classes, dipping pools, etc. The setting is beyond gorgeous and the amenities are spa-like, but don't forget that you're still essentially camping in the wilderness. Depending on the weather, nights and mornings can be cooold. The wind can also make the canvas tents really loud, so be prepared with extra blankets if you have anyone on the pullout (main beds have a heated mattress and are great!) and ear plugs if you need. (Ear plugs are also available on-site - so many thoughtful amenities)
The location is stunning, but ~35 minutes away from Moab out of the way of Arches and Canyonlands, so plan accordingly.
Amazing experience!"
