"Die folgende Bewertung schildert unsere Meinung von dieser Unterkunft.(Meinungen sind unterschiedlich) Die Pension Hofer liegt sehr ruhig in Bad Berneck. Parkplätze sind kostenlos vorhanden. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, das einchecken verlief sehr zügig. Unser Zimmer im 2 Stock war zweckmäßig eingerichtet, ohne viel Extras. Es war eben ein Pensions Zimmer, kein Hotel. "I enjoyed this hotel in Erlangen and my only regret is that I didn't get to explore more of Erlangen itself. Most of what we were doing was in Nuremberg proper, which is about a half hour total travel time (trains and walking) each way from this hotel. The nearest train stop is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. There's a little breakfast place a few steps away from the hotel and it was very good. The hotel itself has a large lobby that is essentially open all night as well, but I do not believe you can order food. There's vending machines though, and staff are great. Just note that you do need to make use of public transit if you're travelling from this hotel to Nuremberg because Uber/Taxi will be at least €60 each way otherwise. Nuremberg is expensive like nothing I've ever seen in Germany lol but staying in Erlangen offset the costs a lot, so don't be afraid to learn the train systems to make use of this hotel a little further away from the main areas."
