"This is 44 acres resort, big and have tropical vibe, beautiful ponds, birds , fishes and turtles.. You are paying just for enjoying these amenities. Tennis court and miniature golf course are overrated. You do not have time to do these if you are doing sight seeing in San Diego. If you want to do any water activities around the bay, you have to pay for it. This is not inclusive of staying in that resort. be ware of it.
Staffs are Ok. I did not get consistent service from them, some are cordial, some willing to do above and beyond. I, as customer has to initiate the greetings , then they greet it back to me. It has to be other way round. I am expecting "consistency" in this big resort. You are in the Hospitality business and I expect hospitability in every interaction with the staff. I rated your service as good but not outstanding. The resort need to work on giving the outstanding and memorable services."

"I was expecting a beautiful dream vacation based on the marketing and reviews. I usually stay at a chain hotel, i thought I would give the Dana a try hoping for a new perspective.
Wrong! It was not as nice as advertised from introduction of the process by the most unengaging receptionist not giving any reason to be excited. Offered an upgrade right off should have been a big hint of the room expectations
Sad to say I have not found that place yet that is not a chain...back to the upscale they are really upscale or at least honest about the low rate experience"
