"Checked in, and very disappointed wasnt expecting an exterior door motel. Went to our room and the floor had stains and pulled the sheets back and they did as well. Tried getting our money back and they fought me with it that they gave me a partial refund but wouldn’t give me a full refund although we didn’t stay there as the room was dirty, and Was a safety issue as I was traveling with young kids and with very unpleasant and unprofessional staff! Very unhappy with this and do not recommend. We camp in tents in the summer and I’d rather sleep in a sleeping bag on the ground than this hotel! Very disappointed in this wingate motel and since we weren’t able to get full refund was disappointed as well. If you stay here be sure to check rooms for bed bugs and try seeing room before checking in-which I was told that was the only way they would have refunded me the full price if I would have checked the room first! Didn’t know seeing the room before checking in was even possible but do this or you will be disappointed in only a partial! "

"Yes it’s an older property but so are the majority of places to stay in Ouray. Room was large and clean. Had everything we needed. It was cold outside in the 20’s and we didn’t have to put the heat on. Breakfast was fine, was to be expected. Gentleman that was at the front was extremely nice and friendly and explained everything. "

"The staff were very helpful and kind. Water pressure in shower was not very good. Hot water in bathroom sink was a trickle. Bed was super comfy. Hot Springs King room does not mean there is a hot springs tub next to your room. Made a mistake with that. Paid $20 extra a night for nothing extra. Could have just booked the king bedroom and call it good. "

"the hotel has no staff present and all communications are done through text massages. It worked just fine. You walk through the 2nd story Bar that is run by The Thai restaurant on the first floor. The bartender was very helpful and also served us drinks etc. on the rooftop deck. Beware that there is a very high exterior staircase to reach the 2nd floor rooms"
