"Over all our stay was comfortable enjoyable. We had an incident where we left some snacks in the room The maid’s came and cleaned it we got back and our bag of snacks were gone. Reported it the clerk said he would check into it gave us a little bit of a discount so that was helpful."

"This hotel needs a little work. Not horrible. Just a little run down. The room was pretty clean. No complaints there. Just the hall ways. Elevator reminds me of a shady apartment complex. Lots of rust. Paint wearing off etc. the oool and hot tub were okay. It’s a good location as you are right in The center of Marquette. Price was a little steep over $200. I’ve stayed at much nicer properties for less. That week was graduation weekend for the local university. NMU. So they could raise prices a bit. Nice restraint and bar on site. Very delicious food and drinks. Lots of unique choices. The whole staff was wonderful. I would stay here again if I need a place to rest my head."

"It’s still a great place to stay—goons clean and ample size, its historic structure and locations views over the city, harbor, Marquette Mountain. But the owner has let the exterior, lobby deteriorate, which is inexcusable and a shame. And the grand restaurant with its great breakfasts is gone, a vacant except for tables and chairs for meetings. So it’s once 4 to 5 Star charm gas fallen to 3-Star over all. "

"The place is great but it was disappointing when I realized that they never gave me check in information and when I contacted them I didn’t receive a call back. I did finally receive a text with check in information but it was 2 hours past check in time. Not acceptable in my book."
