"Awesome location and place"

"We were lucky to get upgraded to room 102 overlooking the river and castle. It was like a slice of heaven. The rooms are huge and the blankets were cozy. Location was perfect. It was minutes to everything. Warning: If you are walking from the bus station, be prepared to carry your luggage for a long distance due to the cobble stone streets. We went to Spicak station and carried the entire way. We just took our time and sat on benches along the way. On the way in from Vienna we used CK Shuttle and they dropped us at the front door to the hotel. Highly recommend. Breakfast was better than we expected and quite nice. Only downer was the shower. We stay in a lot of Hyatts so we aren’t used to partial open showers with handheld shower heads. Would stay again. "

"We really liked our stay here. The hotel had a lot of character. We had one of the signature suites. The one with slanty ceilings. Fun huge room. No view at all. The modern bathroom was from another era. It was very modern but the craziest bath. So slick. There's no way to stand and shower without risking a fall. Not good if you have mobility issues or if you use soap. 😉 the breakfast area was nice and breakfast was good. The location was good, on the bottom part of C K."

"The mattress in our room was as HARD as sleeping on the floor…. We suggest MEMORY FOAM addition. Otherwise the facility was wonderful. And the hostess,Vira, was exceptionally nice AND helpful!!!"

"We loved staying here in this over 500-year-old building. Nice location. The owner was very nice and helpful in getting a cab for us from the bus station. We stayed in the deluxe room on the top floor — up about 55 stairs but not hard. There are ten rooms altogether. Our room was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. It was the top floor with huge old beams. One thing to know is the tub is in the bedroom with a curtain you can pull around it but there’s no wall shower, just a hand hose. So it’s awkward if you’re not used to that. We had a nice breakfast (additional $) the first morning but they didn’t serve food Tuesday and Wednesday, but there are cafes within walking distance. The whole town is in walking distance! I would have loved to spend more time talking to the owner and his wife as they are just lovely people. We would like to come back some day."
