"Wonderful hotel. Perfect location and unique in that there is a beautiful area with grass and trees right by the lake. All the hotel staff were superb and make you feel like you're on holiday at all times. The superior double room was great with amazing views of the lake and mountains. Food was excellent and good value. Overall a really enjoyable stay. We will be visiting again. "
"Das Gallo ist ein sehr schönes familiengeführtes, mittelgroßes Hotel in Tignale. Das Personal ist ausnahmslos sehr freundlich und immer sehr Hilfsbereit. Wir hatten zwei Zimmer mit Seeblick gebucht. Dies ist auch sehr zu empfehlen, da die Zimmer zur Straßenseite sicher mit Verkehrslärm zu kämpfen haben. Motorräder drehen in der Kehre vor dem Hotel gern am Gasgriff. "Absolutely fabulous way to enjoy Lake Garda. All the scenery but away from the mass crowds. Beautiful location in a small village square overlooking the lake. Rooms are spacious - we stayed in a vintage room- bed very comfortable and effective air conditioning. High quality towels and bedding.
Swimming pool and hot tub area was modern and immaculate- staff very happy to bring drinks and snacks to sun loungers (umbrellas provided).
We ate in the restaurant both nights and food was very high quality and reasonably priced. Steaks on the first night and mixed fish grill on the second - large portions. Wait staff friendly and attentive. Breakfast each morning was a feast. To name a few- bacon, ham, cheeses, all types of eggs, breads, sweet pastries, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, as well as cartons of about 10 types of other juices. If you left breakfast hungry it was your own fault.
The hotel is manned by a small dedicated and hard working team who are friendly and helpful. Nothing is a problem to them. I would definitely stay here again. Private underground parking.
Lots to see in surrounding area including Madonna Della Corona- 40 min drive through beautiful scenery. "
