"Hotel itself was great. Room was clean. Location cant be beat. Staff were very friendly. The only reason i rated it less than perfect had NOTHING to do with the hotel. Cannot stress enough—-the hotel was terrific!
Heads up to travelers. The town of Portosin is nearly dead in the off season. The town (and many others in the area such as Porto Do Son) need to figure year-round activities to encourage ongoing tourism. Perhaps the businesses make enough in high season to ride out the rest of the...

"I cannot recommend this property enough! What a hidden gem!! The location is beautiful and peaceful. Teresa, the owner is so warm and gracious, even though we had a language barrier she always made us feel welcomed. The breakfast was wonderful and the wine she gave us was delicious!! "Both bedrooms smelled very bad because of the bathroom pipes. We felt we slept in a sewer. Terrible night sleep because windows had to be opened and there were a lot of mosquitoes coming in the room. We woke up with multiple mosquito bites. Also, when booking it did not state an additional charge for a late check, but we were told that there would be a late check charge after 9pm. "
