Beach Resorts in Praiano

"The breakfast exceeded our expectations, we would consider it to be more of a buffet than a continental breakfast. The staff were lovely to deal with, Omar had some of the best English we've experienced on our trip and him and Marianna as well as the other staff were exceptional hosts! "

"If you're staying in Praiano you should definitely stay at Hotel Smerlado! The rooms are stunning with amazing views of Positano, the ocean, and even Capri! You get the full days sun with beautiful sunset views from your balcony. The upstairs (street level) offers dining with an included breakfast which is everything you need to start your day. If you choose to eat dinner there (which I recommend) you'll be served amazing food by a wonderful staff. The location is great because you're closer to Positano if you're travelling that way but also for day trips the SITA bus stop is less than a 5 minute walk away which you can jump on to Amalfi, Positano and Sorrento. The hotel manager Giorgio is extremely accommodating and knowledgeable of the area and will help arrange a taxi service if need be. Lastly, if you want to jump in the ocean you have a wonderful walk down to the water from the gates of Smeraldos private garden/ communal terrace. It's very accessible with a little bar along the way "Cafe Mirante", and a nice restaurant by the water called "La Gavitella". I look forward to staying here again! "

"This hotel is top notch. It didn't disappoint. They have thought of everything, down to earplugs,eye patches, robes, slippers etc. Good facilities, great friendly staff and great food. Excellent selection at breakfast,that caters for everyone. Staff, polite, professional and friendly. Attentive to anything asked of them. Definitely one of nicest places Ive stayed. Fantastic views from balcony. Would love to stay again. My only 3 small niggles would be, better hairdryer as doesnt blow fast or very warm. Took forever, so had to leave to dry which took hours. Maybe provide milk for tea and coffee in the little pots in the fridge. Provide info on how to use heating/ aircon as we had a bright light going on and off every night."

"Clean room, breakfast was very basic we were promised beach view but we got a parking lot for you which blocked the beach view and we just see the ocean, I asked if they can switch me to a higher room, they said no, that was very disappointing because we never really sat in the hotel we didn't even see the pool area"

"Staff was great especially the guy who helps with the breakfast and the bar area all day, very helpful and remembers each morning what your favorite coffee is. We had a great view with a balcony overlooking the sea and directly across the street from Onde Verde Hotel for a lot less money. I would recommend this place. "
