"Really lovely hotel, in a quiet area only 1km from Pub Street. Exceptional service, huge 3 bedroom apartment, nice pool and pool bar. I loved our stay here, would definitely return. "

"Good value for money overall. Location very quiet and easy walking distance to down town, Tuktuks at US$2 fairly easily available on Street 26. but its surface and the side road to hotel off it, are poorly surfaced / unpaved and tricky in wet weather.Kitchenette and bathrooms well equipped but in need of modernization. Same goes for the pool although the gym is good. TV channel coverage excellent but wifi speed only average - computer link only worked in living area though phones worked in...

"We chose this because we heard Siem Reap (SR) had become a mad house (it has in parts). GVV is a beautiful oasis. There are only four villas, each are two floor, architecturally fun, 2BR/2.5BA. Grounds and pool beautifully landscape. Staff great. But it is too far to walk to SR, which isn’t really a big deal given super cheap tuktuks. "

"Our stay at Velea was fantastic. The building is only 2 years old, very modern, with continual maintenance as it shows no signs of wear like many places do. Pool and Gym facilities are on point. The staff always make a big difference, the staff at Velea were amazing. Chhean provided exceptional service, ensuring any requests were promptly followed up, and being just truly friendly and enthusiastic to assist , we appreciated him very much.

"You get what you paid for. I stayed here for just the weekend in Cambodia, and you really do get what you paid for. There are other budget hotels that I would recommend looking at or spending a bit more. This might be a Siem Reap issue, but there was a mosquito in my room for at least 24 hours and given that there was no mosquito net, I felt a bit uncomfortable. I tried to kill the mosquito to no avail.
The bathroom is the worst l've seen in cheap hotels around South East Asia, but usable. We...

"The staff was absolutely amazing, especially Kim!! The hotel had a resort feel and staff accommodated every need and answered every question. The room was comfortable & clean - far exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!"
"Great hotel, well located, spacious room and excellent staff. Travelling alone I was a little worried but I was always checked-in on by staff frequently. Any questions or requests were acted on quickly. Highly recommend!"
"This place feels like a luxury hotel but at an affordable price. The staff were always smiling and genuinely happy to help. My room was comfortable, the breakfast was generous, and the pool was perfect for cooling off."
"Beautiful hotel; its design is very calming and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The Kroya restaurant is excellent and should not be missed."
"A brilliant stay in Siem Reap. This is honestly one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. The rooms are spacious, and overlook a beautiful garden. The property is a short distance from Siem Reap, so it is quiet but not far from town when you want to go. I walked in a couple of times, which took about 30 mins, or it is 10 mins by tuk tuk. It is also just a short drive from the Angkor temples. The hotel will help you organise transport, guides, whatever you need: from fully planned out, to loose and flexible. Special thanks to one of the managers, Jacky, who helped me plan an excellent 3 day itinery that suited me perfectly. This is a long review but I loved this stay! Highly recommend, hope to come back."
