"Due to the holiday season, reception closed at 15:00 hours, so check in was thru an envelope. Rooms are very spacious, bed and showers are good, but it is an ancient structure and building, so don’t expect modern rooms or furniture. Staff when available was very helpful. Great to walk around the area. "

"The hotel is located within a 5 minute walk to the sbb which for us was fantastic. There's a lot of dinning options as well as shopping and bakeries but keep in mind mostly everything closes by 7pm. The hotel was very clean. Nothing fancy but really clean and well keep. Rooms are clean everyday and they all have black outa so it is a very comfy. The AC works but don't expect AC freezing temps, it's comfortable enough to sleep good. We were there during the hot summer and had no issues. "

It’s a very traditional place in terms of decor but everything was immaculate and well looked after - our room was really spacious and even had an exercise bike which we weren’t expecting! "Great place. Quirky yet comfortable rooms in a central location. I liked the the serviced communal areas on the first floor for preparing own food, gave it a youth hostel type feel. The presence of the helpful friendly hosts added to the charm of the place. The roof terrace with views of the mountains and the city were a favourite place to bring breakfast and start the day. Superb stay, glad we hadn't chosen anywhere else!"
