"This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property and I enjoyed both times. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was clean and the breakfast was good. I will be staying at the Hampton Inn in Albany Georgia and I hope it’s as nice as this one in Americus Georgia."
"An unexpected pleasure. Beautiful late 19th century architecture; pleasant, friendly, efficient staff; comfortable and clean rooms, well-maintained considering this is an historic building. Breakfast was another unexpected treat. I would drive out of my way to stay here again."
"The room was exceptionally clean, which made my stay very comfortable. I also appreciated the tranquility of the area, and the hotel offered a good range of amenities that enhanced my overall experience."
"People wanted to party all night and this is a small town, then the 2nd night someone decided to take off outside our room making noise in their car. The pool was out of order, the ice machine was out of order. They need to remodel this hotel as they don't sweep, mop or dust. The tub was scary but that's because they use one of those tub mats and it pulls up the enamel. No stopper in the tub or sink just open also scary. The ironing board had a big rip in it and the beds need to be replaced as you could feel the springs. And there were roaches. And someone likes to just stand and spit gum in the car lot. Not a pleasant stay at all."
"Although this place stated they were renovated, I found this to be misleading. The toilet was new, and the tile looked like us was installed by unskilled workers. The shower curtain rod and grab bars were stained and peeling. The walls were dirty, the bedspread was stained, furniture was worn, scratched. We slept in our clothes and coats on top of the bedspread bc we just felt things were not clean. The nightstand lamp did not work. Non of the usb outlets works in any lamp. The microwave oven was dirty. Worst was the door to the room did not have a secondary lock for security. They had been broken off. We jammed the one chair provided against the door. They required full payment upfront (2nights).
The fine print stated that once the check in paper was signed, no refunds were allowed, so we were stuck.
The motel seemed to house those who were otherwise homeless. Personal chairs outside doors and a BBQ was on a balcony. The “lobby” was always locked and I had to make a call to have someone check me in.
This is NOT the quality of motel I expected to find on Hotels.com."
